GCA Cross-Regional Activities

The GCA introduced a program designed to engage alumni in various human rights themes that they care about, while also engaging with alumni from other regions in working on these themes.

The competitive process was initiated among the alumni, and the winning projects received basic support of €1,500-€2,500.

  9. Global traces of ecofeminism: exploring connections between climate justice and women’s rights in Europe, Caucasus, Asia and the Middle East.
  10. Book project ‘State of democracy in Africa’
  11. Promoting Higher Education for Afghan girls
  12. Children’s Rights in Digitalised Societies and Conflict Times: Comparative Regional Perspectives (in Thailand)
  13. Documenting the Human Rights Impact of Environmental Disasters in Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh
