Who we are:

The Global Campus Alumni (GCA) gathers all alumni of the Global Campus of Human Rights. It is a network of graduates from all GC’s eight regional alumni associations gathering more than 4,400 experts, activists, and professionals spread throughout the world. The GCA’s headquarters are in Venice, Italy.

The GCA builds connections, creates opportunities, and shares expertise among GC graduates. By connecting with the GCA, graduates can rekindle memories and experiences, find fellow graduates across the globe, develop their professional skills, and exchange with colleagues shaping human rights practice and working in diverse roles.

The GCA has the following objectives:

 
  • It brings alumni together to advance their human rights careers by promoting interaction, networking, and peer-to-peer learning, including with experts in the field.
  • It strengthens the continuous relationship between the alumni and the Global Campus of Human Rights. 
  • It connects and fosters interaction among the regional alumni associations of the Global Campus of Human Rights. 
  • It promotes the work of the members at regional and international human rights fora.

Overall, through the work of its members, the GCA helps contribute to the broader goal of the protection and promotion of human rights. The GCA has a clear motto: together for human rights.

Membership: 

You are a member of the GCA automatically once you graduate from one of the human rights master’s programs of the Global Campus of Human Rights. Engaging with the GCA enables you to embrace a wide set of opportunities for career growth in the field of human rights.
